# Adaptive Product Development

> A post-Agile operating model for teams building with AI. The SODA Loop — Sense, Orient, Decide, Act — is the runtime mechanism inside it. Published as a public good under CC BY 4.0. Authored by Marton Gaspar.

Adaptive Product Development extends Agile into runtime. Where Agile optimised for discovery and DevOps optimised for deployability and outcomes, Adaptive Product Development optimises for runtime learning loops in live, AI-driven systems. The framework holds that organisations built for slower feedback loops cannot operate at AI speed; AI increases output, but most organisations cannot sense, decide, and adapt fast enough to govern it.
